Before You Apply

Let's find out if you qualify.

First, your organization or business must fall into one or more of the following categories to become a member:

Maker

A maker creates and sells their own locally made products to wholesalers, retailers, or consumers.

Service

A service makes customized products that require an agreement—like carpenters, florists, tailors, printers, etc.

Retailer

A retailer sells products from various makers in a physical or online store. They may also offer their own products.

Next, please review the section(s) that apply to you:

  • make or manufacture a physical product in Lane County, Oregon.
  • be headquartered and conduct all main financial activity related to the business or organization within Oregon.
  • be registered with the Oregon Secretary of State as an Assumed Business Name (ABN) or other business type—like an LLC, Coop, Trust, etc.
  • have at least one full-time employee, which may be the owner.
  • offer one or more standard product lines. A product line is a group of similar or related products made or manufactured under the same brand.
  • sell products in at least one retail shop, farmer’s market, online store, or other outlet within Lane County. This may also be the business’ website or an e-commerce platform like Etsy, Amazon, Shopify, Big Cartel, etc.

*Food and beverage producers must offer items that are packaged or bottled, are prepared or processed with two or more ingredients, have a shelf life of one week or longer, and follow Oregon Health Authority (OHA) guidelines for packaged food products in Oregon.

*Branding companies or digital artists who etch, engrave, print, or screen print onto clothing, hats, tees, stickers, canvas, photo stock, etc., or those who offer 3D-printed products, must print 50% or more of their items within the Pacific Northwest [proof required]. We do not allow products with images produced by artificial intelligence (AI).

  • make or manufacture a physical product in Lane County, Oregon.
  • be headquartered and conduct all main financial activity related to the business or organization within Oregon.
  • be registered with the Oregon Secretary of State as an Assumed Business Name (ABN) or other business type—like an LLC, Coop, Trust, etc.
  • have at least one full-time employee, which may be the owner.
  • operate a physical storefront or an online store based in Lane County, Oregon.
  • be headquartered and conduct all main financial activity related to the business or organization within Oregon.
  • be registered with the Oregon Secretary of State as an Assumed Business Name (ABN) or other business type—like an LLC, Coop, Trust, etc.
  • carry products from 10 or more Lane County vendors.

We employ a selective process to ensure alignment with our objectives. We select participants based on eligibility criteria, product quality, production methods, and time dedicated to their craft. We’re looking for individuals who demonstrate a high level of professionalism and are looking to grow an established businesses. This helps to create a strong program that benefits both makers and consumers.

As a private program, we reserve the right to accept or decline applicants at our discretion. We may terminate services for any member at any time, as deemed necessary, in accordance with our Terms of Use and Participant Guidelines. We’re committed to an inclusive and equitable selection process. Applications are approved or denied without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, physical ability, or any protected status.
